Florence Sabbah is promoted to Vice President, Canada.

Montréal, November 10, 2020 - Equisoft is pleased to announce the appointment of François Levasseur as Vice President, Global Alliances & Acquisitions, while Florence Sabbah is now entrusted with heading all Canadian activities as Vice President, Canada. These appointments will allow the company to consolidate its Canadian presence while supporting its international operations and expansion strategy.

"It is imperative for any company seeking global expansion to maintain a strong focus on its local activities, said Equisoft's CEO, Luis Romero. These appointments will help us achieve our ambitions while doubling down on our efforts to provide outstanding service to our local clients as they continue on their growth path. François was involved in several M&A and strategic partnership initiatives over the past few years. He has the vision, the passion and a deep understanding of our offering and strategic direction. Florence has played a key role in many large modernization projects in Canada and abroad, and her ability to lead delivery teams has been a huge part of our success. I have no doubt that they both have all the critical skills to succeed in these important roles and help us achieve new heights.

New strategic business opportunities ahead

After heading the Canadian region for almost two years, François Levasseur is now leading Equisoft's partner relationships across products and services and steering strategic global acquisitions. He brings to this new position an expert knowledge of the insurance and wealth management industries, coupled with over 17 years' experience in technology development and corporate strategy that resulted in the launch of many financial services software solutions. François joined Equisoft in 2018 as part of the acquisition of Kronos Technologies, a firm that he had successfully led and earned him recognition by several economic organizations as one of the top emerging entrepreneurs.

All acquisition and partnership initiatives created by Equisoft so far have served the same objectives of bringing the best back- and front-end solutions to the market to create seamless experiences for our clients, and accelerate our global expansion, said François Levasseur. We're always on the lookout for meaningful business opportunities that can help us achieve these objectives, and I'm excited to be leading this new area of growth for the company.

Canadian expertise at the heart of local and global success

An invaluable member of the Equisoft team since 2008, Florence Sabbah has steered numerous highly strategic, large-scale projects to successful completion, leveraging strong problem-solving skills and a client-centric approach. In her new role, she is now leading the Canadian-based team of seasoned insurance and investment technology experts serving over 50 clients in Canada and supporting Equisoft's onshore delivery teams across regions. Florence has over 20 years of multi-disciplinary experience in the financial services realm. Her extensive knowledge of financial products and business processes and her proven track-record in designing and implementing complex solutions have helped several clients find the path to success in their modernization endeavors.

I come into this new role with the same rigor and passion for delivering projects that go beyond clients' expectations, said Florence Sabbah. I'm honored to lead such a great team of highly talented and dedicated people, and I can't wait to see what we'll have been able to achieve together in a few years from now.
